Every day the dreams of entrepreneurs are chattered because
they lack the knowledge needed to combat the reality of the business
environment. It is the job of a SCOREDSM Mentor to help prevent potential
pitfalls and counsel these dreamers into the world of 'satisfaction' that comes with
owning a small business. The local Des Moines Chapter of SCORE is actively
seeking volunteers to lend their expertise with local, aspiring small business
owners in the Des Moines metro area.
What is SCORE?
SCORE, “Counselors to
America’s
Small Business,” is a nonprofit association that provides free small business advice, mentoring, and training to America’s small-business owners and
aspiring entrepreneurs regardless of race, age, gender, or country of origin.
Under the guidance of our volunteers, SCORE clients get the assistance they need to transform their lives, build financial wealth, and enhance their communities.
